Legitimacy: fulfilment of a contract to which the customer is party. We need the data to comply with the contract. Obviously, if we do not have your customer data, we will not be able to manage your booking request, nor the actual accommodation in our homes (Article 6.1.b RGPD)

Legitimacy: fulfilment of a contract to which the owner is party. Data must comply with the contract. Obviously, if we do not have your owner data, we will not be able to comply with our services.
Assignments: no assignments to third parties.
Rights of persons: you can exercise your rights of processing access, rectification, deletion or limitation on any of the data processing carried out, by sending your request to booking@illarentals.com. Remember to attach a copy of your DNI / NIE or identification document.
Although we hope it will not be the case, if you do not agree on the way we handle your requests, you can resort to the Spanish Agency for Data Protection.
GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR THE BOOKED HOUSE
The General Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) are specified within the respective house’s record. Your consent to the present T&C is regarded as your agreement with the provisions applicable to the respectively booked house.
Illa Rentals.com merely acts as agent on behalf of individual house owners and/or their representatives.
I: Payment
Upon receipt of a 30% down payment and the respective owner’s consent, Illa Rentals.com shall provide Client with a booking confirmation.
The final payment shall be made 30 days before the respective rental period’s beginning by the latest. Otherwise, booking shall be cancelled and the deposit shall forfeit. Upon the Agency’s receipt of the final payment, we shall provide Client with a map / route by mail or fax so that Client can get from the airport to the house.
Any and all costs and premiums arising from payment shall be borne by Client.
In the event booking is made less than 30 days before the rental period’s beginning, payment shall be in one single transaction and cover 100% of the moneys due.
II: Security
The Owners and/or Illa Rentals.com in its role as their representative reserve the right to request securities for possible damage, contract violations, thievery and/or excessive soiling. They shall refund the respective security at the last day of Client’s stay after inspecting the house.
In case no security has been lodged, Illa Rentals.com reserves the right to claim from Client a compensational amount corresponding to the costs required to cover possible damage, stolen items and/or cleaning up excessive soiling.
The Lodger shall be responsible for any and all damage to the house caused during its stay by inappropriate behavior.
III: Cancellations
Client shall inform Illa Rentals.com as soon as possible and generally in writing via e-mail or fax on any cancellation of its booking(s).
1.- Cancellation of a booking will be a penalty 10% of total booking amount irrespective of communication’s date cancellation.
2.- If cancellation is made within a term of 15 days before the rental period’s beginning, the client shall be obliged to total rent payment.
3.- If cancellation is made within a term of 16 to 30 days before the rental period’s beginning, the penalty for cancellation of the reserve will be 80% of total booking amount
4.- If cancellation is made within a term of 31 to 45 days before the rental period’s beginning, the penalty for cancellation of the reserve will be 50% of total booking amount
5.- If cancellation is made within a term of 46 to 60 days before the rental period’s beginning, the penalty for cancellation of the reserve will be 50% of total booking amount
In case cancellation is made during Client’s stay any reimbursement on part of Agency shall be excluded.
IV.- Amendments
Modification of individual booking data shall be feasible as specified below:
Extension: provided that the property in question is available for the requested period. Any extension of booking periods shall be subject to payment of the remaining difference to the booking fee already paid.
Reduction: shall only be permissible if announced one month in advance. Any booking fees already paid shall not be refunded.
Changing the number of persons:
Increase: provided that the property in question accommodates the requested number of lodgers. Respective modifications shall be subject to payment of the remaining difference to the booking fee already paid.
V.- Thievery
Illa Rentals.com do not assume any liabilities whatsoever for items left inside the houses.
VI.- Force Majeure
Most unlikely, Illa Rentals.com will have to change your booking. However, there is a minor risk the house booked is – due to reasons of force majeure - not available at all or at the terms agreed. In suchlike cases, you shall be entitled to alter the booking to another house or cancel your booking. For suchlike cancellations, we shall refund any and all deposits already paid.
VII.- Stay
Houses shall generally be available to the number of persons specified in the booking confirmation only. In the event an house is occupied by more persons than specified in the booking confirmation suchlike circumstances shall constitute entitlement to terminate the rent agreement without any refunding of amounts already paid falling due.
The property let hereunder is a holiday house. Without Illa Rentals.com prior written notice and consent, it shall not be permissible to use the same for any other purposes such as banquets, festivities, parties, seminars etc.
The holiday house’s use for purposes not covered hereunder and/or by more people than specified might result in the rent agreement’s termination with immediate effect.
VIII.- House’s State and Furnishing
Illa Rentals.com uses its best efforts to provide possibly detailed information on the houses offered on its website. However, since the houses are not subject to our Agency’s direct and permanent control, we undertake to make up for any possible deficiencies in the house or offer adequate alternatives.
IX.- Pets
Please ensure to obtain Illa Rentals.com consent to bringing pets to the house before requesting confirmation for your booking.
X.- Cleaning, Bedclothes, Garden, Pool & Service
Houses shall be let in a clean state and equipped with bedclothes, towels, tablecloth and a “welcome pack”. Staff for doing cleaning, gardening, pool-related and maintenance services shall be entitled to enter the houses by using a second key while Lodger is absent.
Holiday stays of more than 7 nights include free weekly cleaning and linen exchange.
XI.- Occupation & Clearance of House
Your time of arrival at airport or port will have to be announced at least one week in advance.
In order to enable house owner and cleaning staff to deliver the house in good order and state,
the house shall not be available for occupation before 04.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. On your day of departure, please ensure to clear the apartment by 10.00 a.m. at the latest. However, subject to Agency’s consent, arrival and departure times may be adapted to Client’s requests.
XII.- Place of Jurisdiction
For any and all disputes arising out of or in relation to these T&C, both of the Parties hereto agree the court of Inca to be competent.
XIII: Taxes
The accommodations that are made in any of the properties listed on the website
Illa Rentals.com are subject to the provisions of the 'Law 2/2016, of March 30, tax tourist stays in the Balearic Islands and measures to promote sustainable tourism.' Published in the BOIB number 42, 2 April 2016.
They are burdened with this tax:
- The tourist apartments of one, two and three keys.
- The tourist holiday homes, homes object of tourist stays marketing and tourism marketing homes object.
- The establishments or homes in tourism.
The amount of the tax liability is:
a) High season, is from May 1 to October 31, 1 € per person per day.
b) Low season, is from November 1 to April 30, 0.50 € per person per day.
Bonuses:
A bonus of 50% of the fee applicable to stays set in the same establishm tourist extending beyond the eight consecutive days.
Exemptions:
Stays under 16 years old.
